Job Title: Integration Developer
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 2 weeks (maximum)
Objective: We are seeking an experienced developer to integrate Odoo Ecommerce with Dolibarr ERP using APIs. The primary goal of this project is to synchronize product data, orders, payments, and shipments between the two systems seamlessly.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement API-based integration between Odoo Ecommerce and Dolibarr ERP.
Sync product information (including descriptions and pricing) from Dolibarr to Odoo Ecommerce.
Ensure that orders placed on Odoo Ecommerce are posted to Dolibarr for processing.
Synchronize payment information and shipment details between the two systems.
Implement payment integration via MPESA on Odoo.
Required Knowledge Areas:
Odoo: Experience working with Odoo, including familiarity with its Models API and external data access via XML-RPC1.
Dolibarr: Proficiency in Dolibarr ERP, understanding its APIs, triggers, and hooks2.
API Integration: Strong knowledge of API design, development, and integration.
Python: Ability to write Python scripts for API communication.
Web Services: Understanding of web services and real-time data exchange.
Ecommerce Platforms: Familiarity with Odoo Ecommerce and other popular platforms (e.g., Magento, WooCommerce).
Payment Gateways: Experience integrating payment gateways (including MPESA) into Odoo.
Key Deliverables:
Successfully integrated Odoo Ecommerce and Dolibarr ERP via API.
Product synchronization (including descriptions and pricing) between the systems.
Orders posted from Odoo Ecommerce processed in Dolibarr.
Payment information and shipment details synchronized.
MPESA payment integration on Odoo.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in API integration projects.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
